Topics
Refresh of basic knots and core rope work.
Multi-point anchors and belaying techniques using nuts, friends , hammer and pitons.
Casualty evacuation using Y-hangs or equivalent setups.
Pulley systems.
Ascending and descending fixed ropes.
Thinking clearly under pressure: developing simple solutions for complex problems.
Equipment: harness, helmet, climbing shoes, rope, personal trad-gear (if available), 2 HMS carabiner, ATC belay device or similar, screw-gate carabiners, slings and cords
Equipment rental: available upon request.
