Via Mauri - Fiorelli — A hidden gem, somewhat overlooked, just steps away from the hut.

The Mauri–Fiorelli is a legendary alpine route that links corners, airy arêtes, and a bold, unprotected slab — a defining feature of the climb. Though somewhat overlooked today, it remains a beautiful line with strong character and historic significance. For those who appreciate the roots of granite alpinism in Valmasino, it offers a rewarding journey marked by style, commitment, and timeless elegance.

Also used as a warm-up or recovery climb around longer and more demanding routes.

Difficulty: Moderate / 400 m, 10 pitches - mostly IV, 5c max.

Equipment:

Harness, helmet, comfortable climbing shoes, chalk, one HMS carabiner, belay/rappel device with a dedicated carabiner, and a 120 cm sling or personal anchor system (PAS).

Backpack (30–35 liters)

Clothing for alpine ascents and for an overnight stay in a hut.

Early in the season, crampons and ice axe may be required for the approach.
