KUNDALINI

A sea of granite, where delicate slabs and fine cracks weave their way beneath a towering natural arch.

Il Risveglio di Kundalini is more than a climb — it's an ascent into one of Val di Mello’s most mystical corners, where granite, light, shadows, and silence converge.

Opened in 1976 by Ivan Guerini and Mario Villa, this route traces a visionary line across the soaring faces of the Dimore degli Dei. The climbing unfolds over ten pitches of flowing movement, where delicate slabs meet clean cracks and sweeping dihedrals.

Early on, a beautiful and technical crux sets the tone — requiring calm balance, a bit of finger strength, and precise footwork. Midway through, a dramatic traverse beneath a massive roof adds a sense of exposure and space that stays with you long after the climb is over.

Like the energy it’s named after, Kundalini awakens gradually — building pitch by pitch, move by move, until you find yourself standing high above the valley: fully alive... and maybe a little tired.

Il Risveglio di Kundalini isn’t just one of Val di Mello’s classic lines — it’s an experience that lingers.

👉 That crack you see? It’s “La Serpe Sfuggente” — the Fleeing Snake — pitch 3. Are you ready?
