If you want to climb in a true Swiss alpine environment but don’t favour long approaches, the use of the gondola offers you a lovely climb on perfect rock and amazing landscape.

Despite the many options, both for climbing and mountaineering, the Albigna Valley is famous among climbers for the sunny and compact walls of Pizzo Spazzacaldera. Unfortunately, the easy and fast approach means a lot of people on the famous, moderate, wonderful route, can often be found, especially during the weekends.

Apart from this slight inconvenience, the area offers plenty of routes from 150 up to 400 meters, including the super-classic mega-photographed aesthetic 20 meters skinny pillar called “Fiamma”.
